Backups are a necessary part of any computer system. The ability to retrieve your data is crucial in the event of a systems failure and as computers and servers get more complex - the need for backups has increased.

Our 7 day rolling backup system has a number of features that allow you to back track changes made on your website for up to 1 month before today!

First.. We take a nightly backup of your site so you always have a weeks worth of backups to refer back to.

Secondly... We take a backup of your whole site on the 15th of each month and the 1st of each month.

Thirdly... We store these backups on a seperate datacentre - in a different geographical location on RAID 1 servers so even the backups are backed up!

Our backups are competitively priced and include the bandwidth needed to back up your sites as well as the diskspace.

(don't forget we'll be transferring and storing data 9 times the size of your website files)

How to calculate the backup size you need..

1. Login to your control panel and check the size of your account.

2. Multiply the size of your account by 10 (allows room to grow a little and that should be the size of the backup space you need.

i.e. 'ourexample.com' is 90Mb x 10 (9 backups and room to grow) is 900Mb so 'ourexample.com' would need a 1,000 Mb Backup Account.
